the service was great. the food was amazing, I suggest getting the spinach on queso for an appetizer. the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was probably one of the best hot chickens I’ve ever tried.

We had a great time at JAlexander. The building is beautiful. Working in the construction industry, I loved everything about the exterior design. They hired a stone artist who knew exactly what to do. Stunningly beautiful. And when you walk in, you are greeted by warm-hearted waitresses waiting for you. It doesn’t get better than that. Starting with the building, the ceilings and nicely framed beams give you that antique, beautiful structure, finished with a nice chandelier hanging down from the ceiling. Perfect for a date night. I didn’t get to explore many of the food items. I wanted a Caesar salad with salmon on the side because I needed something light, and my friend ordered steak. The steak was served with broccoli on the side. But because my friend is on a keto diet, the fat and juicy steak was perfect. Overall, I thought the pricing was fair for the quality. I see myself coming back anytime soon.

My server Peyton was outstanding going above and beyond to give us the highest quality of service. He first started off by checking to see what kind of mojito mix was being used then got my mule to be served in a glass and not the standard copper cup. He then was able to add a last minute item the bang bang shrimp to our order and actually had it come out first followed by the entrees. My steak was broiled to perfection with a slight char no sauce needed and the crab cakes were delicious. All in all a great night with great food and superb service. In town for kids sports and stopped in for dinner. Excellent! Place was very busy so make a reservation. Brennan was an absolute pro and made the experience more enjoyable. Had the chicken platter - chicken was moist and flavorful but reading wasn't very crunch. However, fries and sauces were excellent. Wife liked her steak and really loved the side salad. Daughter thought the chocolate cake was incredible. Very good bourbon selection and the Bearded IPA I had was outstanding. The menu is diverse but not overwhelming. We left satisfied!

Loved the food and the ambience of this place.. been a regular visitor at this J Alexander’s location.. we had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich , Mr. Jacks Crispy Chicken tenders, Cypress Salad , Italian Meats Pizza , Carrot Cake and Chocolate Cake Sweet Tea Note: If you are celebrating a special day, the Carrot Cake is on the house! Overall great experience with the taste of the food! Definitely a great American comfort food spot..

First time here, and a great experience. The food was delicious, but the carrot cake was AMAZING! Honestly, the best carrot cake I've ever had. The service was outstanding. Our server, Kyle was very attentive and checked on us often. Will definitely be returning.

Servers who pay attention and go above and beyond. Excellent food and desserts. This restaurant is a family staple for gatherings.

Ella M normally waits on me and is always fantastic. She knows the menu and has the best personality. The food is always fantastic when I go and normally not a bad wait time, especially with a reservation. This has been one of my favorite spots to eat at for years. A friend took me for my birthday this week and it didn’t disappoint. I had the roasted chicken with potatoes and probably should have had a salad instead of the cake tho.. the waistline would have appreciated that.
